We recently got back from Orlando for a family trip to Disney World. We also had a dance competition and TW had a work conference. It was a great 8 days. I journaled, at night, on a few of the days so that we would be able to remember later what exactly we did each day of our trip. So, I thought I would share it with you.

We woke up at 5am in order to get ready and get to the airport in time. Mom and Dad didn’t sleep to well because all of the kiddos decided they needed to sleep with us. So, needless to say, 5am came extra quick. Our flight was great! It was a smooth ride and the kids were great. Jeremy sat by the girls and I sat by Jeremy Daniel. The girls spent their time on the plane coloring and playing video games. Addisyn also did some homework. Jeremy Daniel and Mommy spent a lot of time looking out the window. We also played with his “choo choos” and Lightening McQueen car. His favorite movie is Cars, so Lightening goes lots of places with us. For the last part of the flight JD and Livi watched Ice Age. JD did great on the flight. He got a little restless during descent, just wanting to stand instead of sit. He behaved much better then I expected though. After getting our bags we went to get the rental car. This process took quite some time. Jeremy D. made friends with a little boy named Danny and they played together. Then came the treacherous fit by Bubby. At this point he was exhausted, sick of waiting, and hungry…not a good combo! He screamed for probably close to an hour! Oh the patience we have with our third child that we didn’t have with our first! He finally fell asleep in the van as we were driving around. We went through Wendy’s for lunch and ate in the parking lot because we didn’t want to wake the little guy. The girls and I went into a cheap souvenir store to buy them some autograph books and we also did some grocery shopping all while Jeremy and Jeremy were in the car. We wanted Bubby to get every minute of rest that he could! We then went to check in to the condo. After unloading our stuff we were back in the van to head to the Contemporary Resort where we rode the monorail and at dinner at Chef Mickeys. On a couple of the monorail rides we got to sit in the front with the driver. This is a really cool view and the kids enjoyed it! Dinner at Chef Mickey’s was fun. We visited with Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald, and Pluto. It was then back to the condo for bedtime! It was a long day. Alivia and Addisyn fell asleep in the van. We were exhausted!

Update
I have been meaning to get on here and update you on the dinner crisis. I went for Mexican. I made enchiladas, mexican cheesy rice, and we had chips with different dips. It was yummy...at least to me. I hope they liked it. :)

What's for dinner? STUMPED
So, we are having some of our friends over for dinner tomorrow night. I am now faced with the daunting task of figuring out what to cook! Should be pretty simple, huh! But, it isn't. Not for this family, or this household exec who feeds her family at every restuarant in town and rarely in our own kitchen. I used to cook at least three times a week, and now we are lucky if I cook one meal at home a week. On the nights the girls have dance it seems that my taxi driving hits right at the time I should be preparing dinner. And, on the nights that they don't have dance (Wednesdays and weekends) I don't feel like cooking because I have been doing so much running (taxi driving). So, for this past season of our lives we have been eating out way too much. I started noticing this, so I decided to start buying some meals again from my friends' business, The Friendly Freezer (their link is on the side of the screen). This has been a huge help in allowing us to eat at home as a family. But, it doesn't help me with what is for dinner tomorrow night because...I am out of meals that I have purchased from them. And, when you have guest over don't you usually want to cook them something that you have made? So, I ask TW, "What should I make for dinner tomorrow night?" He looks dumbfounded and says, "Spaghetti!" LOL That is my standby. I can make a mean spaghetti...TW's grandma's recipe! But, it has italian sausage in it and our friends don't eat pork...so that is out! I find myself sitting here thinking how pathetic it is that the Household Executive can't even think of something to cook for guests. I will keep brainstorming!
