Honest...Brutally Honest

Yesterday we had a family picnic after church. Following the picnic we went to see the movie Wall-E. So, TW was discussing with the kids what the movie was about and what moral lessons to look for in the movie. We were teaching the kids about consumerism. TW was describing this big word to our young kids and he came up with the example of how all the commercials on TV target us and try to get us to think that what they are selling is what we need. And, in fact they persuade us that what they are selling will make our lives better. So, this is when AAP chimes in... "Oh, like that face stuff. Yeah, it is not workin for mom!" LOL So, she is referring to Proactive. No, I don't use it, but maybe I should. :) Right now I am a little broken out on my chin so that is what she was referring to. It was hilarious. She was so serious and just said that plain as day and matter of fact. TW and I had a good laugh!
